What age group does Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camp cater to?
Camp is available to boys and girls between 11-15 years of age

How many campers attend each session?
A maximum of 12 campers may attend each 5 day/4 night camp session

What are the sleeping arrangements?
Answer – Campers sleep in clean and comfortable guest rooms complete with full, twin or queen beds. Linens and pillows are provided as well

Where do the kids take showers?
The lodge has 4 full bathrooms complete with sinks, toilets and showers

Is Green Mountain Fly Fish Camp for both boys and girls?
Yes, both boys and girls are encouraged to attend the camp. If we have a co-ed camp, we simply designate male and female bathrooms

Are activities planned other than fishing?
Yes, campers may have opportunities to go hiking, swimming, boating, wildlife viewing and exploring the many sights and attractions of Groton State Forest, but typically the kids just want to fish!

What time do campers wake up and go to sleep?
Quiet hours are from 10:30pm – 7:30am and breakfast is served from 8-9am each day

Is there any free time each day for the kids?
Yes. It is our goal to have a well-structured camp for the kids, but there is still plenty of free time

What is the behavior policy?
Unsatisfactory and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated on any level. Campers with behavioral issues will be immediately suspended from the camp and tuition monies will not be refunded

What if my child becomes sick or injured?
Every staff member of Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camps holds current CPR/First Aid Certification. The nearest hospital is located 30 minutes away in Barre, VT

How do campers get to Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camp?
Parents are strongly encouraged to drive their kids to the camp and experience the facility first hand. Transportation to and from the airport and other locations within reason can also be arranged for an additional fee

Are volunteers needed to assist with camp activities?
