Stillwater State Park
This Campground is located on the shores of 423-acre Lake Groton. The park was established in the 1930's and consists of a campground with 60 tent/trailer sites and 19 lean-tos. All rest rooms include hot showers. There is a sanitary dump station available, but no hookups for RVs. There is a swimming beach, boat launch/dock facility, play area and miles of hiking and multiple use trails in the adjacent state forest.
Ricker Pond State Park
This campground has 27 tent/trailer sites, 23 lean-tos, 5 cabins and a waterfront rental cottage that comfortably sleeps up to 5 and comes with a canoe. Two of the three rest rooms include hot showers ($). A sanitary dump station is available, but no hookups. There is a swimming beach, boat launch, shelter, and access to miles of hiking trails.
Big Deer State Park
This campground has 23 tent/trailer sites and 5 lean-tos. The rest room includes hot showers ($). A sanitary dump station is available at Stillwater, but no hookups. There's easy access to the Nature Center, Boulder Beach and miles of hiking trails.
Kettle Pond State Park - (Group and Remote Camping)
The campground is located on the shores of Kettle Pond, an undeveloped pond. There are 26 lean-tos arranged into five separate g roups designed to accommodate a variety of different organizations, such as scouts, churches, clubs or other social institutions. There are two composting toilets, two double pit toilets and a hand pump well for drinking water. There is a swimming area, and miles of hiking and multiple use trails in Groton State Forest. Six remote campsites/lean- to’s on the pond are also available.
New Discovery State Park & Osmore Pond
This campground has 46 tent/trailer sites and 15 lean-tos. Seven of the sites are designed to accommodate horse campers. Both rest rooms include hot showers. A sanitary dump station is available, but no hookups for RVs. There is a play area and miles of hiking and multiple use trails. Four remote campsites, a picnic shelter with rest rooms and picnic sites with fireplace and table are located at Osmore Pond, approximately 1 mile from the campground. Swimming is available at Boulder Beach State Park.
